Couples Sweat Together While They Stay Together

Like never before, couples at PNWP are doing Pilates together. Online and in the studio, PNWP instructors are teaching more semi-private classes  and seeing more couples during virtual group sessions too. Instead of feeling stuck together, these couples choose to sweat together.

Different studies indicate that couples who exercise together enjoy exercise more, are less likely to fight and are possibly even more loving.

Here are three reasons why these couples love their workouts:

Two is Better than One

Having a partner keeps you motivated to stick to your exercise routine. In fact, research shows that working out with someone who is in better shape than you can inspire you to work harder.

Oh, sweet hassle-free

Many roommates, couples and partners love the online options and find they can quickly transition from work to exercise to dinner, for example, without the hassle of driving to another location. Staying at home to workout means more time for each other.

Stuck on You

Couples who exercise together form a deeper bond and feel more connected. Some of this can be attributed to a process called nonverbal mimicry.
