March 25, 2020
Dear Friends of PNWP,
We hope you are safe and well. We look forward to seeing you in person very soon. The studio is temporarily closed for all in-person Pilates and movement classes.
We are still offering exceptional Pilates, Yoga & Somatics classes virtually!
Our instructor community and staff are working together every day to provide online classes and education to you over the coming weeks. Tracy is routinely checking voicemail and emails from home and is available to help you.
We will be canceling client appointments that were previously scheduled to take place in-person at the studio between now and April 30th. Instead, all virtual classes will be set up in the schedule so we can use online scheduling features including class reminders for all virtual offerings.
If things improve sooner than expected, we’ll be happy to reinstate any in-person classes you had in place prior to the crisis.
Please note: If you were scheduled to take education workshops or other training before April 30th, stay tuned. More information and opportunities will be coming your way soon.
Virtual Classes for Clients—group, private & semi-private
Our team of instructors are available to work with you online privately, semi-privately or in a group setting. As always, you will be able to sign up for group classes online using our scheduling program.
Private and semi-private classes will have to be scheduled directly with your instructor or by contacting Tracy at the studio at 503-292-4409 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Virtual Group Classes for Clients
Beginning this week, we’re launching a series of group classes through Zoom—a video communication system that allows you to meet with a group online. We’ll be adding classes and updating the schedule each week based on your suggestions and feedback. Keep checking in!
You may access and register for these classes using our online scheduling system called Mindbody Online. Here are steps for you to follow:
Clients familiar with PNWP Online Scheduling
If you already take group classes at PNWP and have an online account (i.e. username and password) with us: Go here to see our list of new online classes.
The class description—including cost, what you’ll need and level—can be found when click on the title of the class. If you want to purchase props many local stores, like New Seasons, provide exercise supplies. Amazon may also be a good resource.
If you have any trouble with this process, please contact Tracy at email@example.com or 503-292-4409.
Clients unfamiliar with PNWP Online Scheduling
If you don’t have a username and password and don’t know how to use our online system OR if you don’t currently have a mat or reformer package and would like to convert credit, please contact Tracy at 503-292-4409 or firstname.lastname@example.org and she will help you get set up so you can view classes and sign up. It’s really simple.
You can view our listing of online classes here, if you’d like to see the schedule. You won’t be able to sign-up until you have a class package.
Private and Semi-Private Classes for Clients
If you’re interested in private virtual classes, please contact Tracy or reach out to your instructor. We can design classes based on props and equipment that you already have available to you at home.
It is our priority to help keep you healthy and centered during this time. We have every intention of getting through this national crisis as a community and business. We’re very happy to convert your package credit into whichever type of classes work best for you. Do not hesitate to contact us to find out your best options for classes.
ZOOM Registration & Support
Once you’ve registered for a class, we’ll be emailing you a link, so you can join the class through Zoom at the designated time. If you’re unfamiliar with Zoom, all of us can help you including your instructor. For more information about how to download it to your computer and other useful tips go here.
Please note you will need to sign up for classes at least a half hour in advance of the class to receive the link and password in time.
Classes will be limited in size and the 24-hour cancellation policy will still apply. If you become ill, please let us know, we’ll be happy to waive the policy.
We’re Staying Strong & Connected
Our hope is to make this as easy as possible for you to participate in group classes offered by instructors affiliated with PNWP using credit that you already have at the studio.
When we’re finally on the other side of this, we intend to be stronger, smarter and even more connected than ever before. Thank you for being a part of our community and support.
Yours in Health,
Leslie, Melanie, Tracy, Kate and the entire PNWP team
